Consultant in General surgery, Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgery

I practice as a full time consultant and am part of the general surgical on call team for surgical emergencies, and also carry on a specialist practice within general surgery.

My areas of specialist interest are:

Colorectal diseases (including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases, diverticular disease, haemorrhoidal disease, pilonidal disease and anorectal sepsis (abscess and fistulating diseases)

Laparoscopic surgery (keyhole) for gallstone disease, hernias and for colorectal resections

Specialist hernia surgery

Sportsmans groin injuries

Personal Interests

I am a keen athlete, training and competing regularly in triathlons. I have been fortunate enough to represent the Great Britain Age Group squad for the last few years.
